- First dedicated SINGLE SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL in Rajasthan, catering only to Urology & other Minimal Access Surgery.
- First hospital in the private sector to introduce 100 WATT HOLMIUM LASER machine from the world famous brand “Lumenis” for the treatment of enlarged Prostate & Kidney stones. The VERSA PULSE POWER SUITE machine offers the highest power & widest range of activity, speed & precision to perform high-quality surgery. So far mode than 3000 laser prostatectomy has been performed at the institute.
- First institute to perform a large number of TUBELESS MINIPERC (i.e. mini PCNL). Standard PCNL (removal of kidney stone through a hole at the back) involves 1-1.5 cm hole at the back and kidney with more chance of bleeding & more time to recover. We perform the same procedure using only a 3-4 mm hole at the back & use paediatric instruments to perform surgeries in adults. As a result, there is significantly less bleeding and patients are discharged within 24-36 hours. So far, 4000 minipercs have been performed at the institute and 75% of them were discharged within 24 hours.
- First people to introduce the technique of LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY in urology in a big way. since inception, Department of Laparoscopic Urology today routinely performs removal of the dead kidney (nephrectomy), PUJ reconstruction (pyeloplasty), Repair of urinary fistula (VVF), Cancer surgery (radical nephrectomy, Radical prostatectomy) etc. through 3-4 keyholes in the abdomen.
- First institute in the state to introduce Flexible Ureteroscopy & Laser Lithotripsy (RIRS).
- First in the private sector to introduce MMS VIDEO URODYNAMICS in the state. This state-of-the-art machine helps in assessing bladder function and also in the complete diagnosis of pelvic floor dysfunction.
